Disney Cybercrop!

....and not a Disney page in sight! ATDML #Create had a Disney Cypercrop and although I couldn't take part on the actual day I made a note of all the classes and completed them yesterday at my crop.

Snow White - use of white space and white embellishments etc.
Photo of us taken back in 2013.  Ali edwards stamp, Heidi Swapp sticker and wooden embellishment from the works, adding a lace doily, American Crafts gold spot vellum and Prima flowers and bling.

Dumbo - Follow the sketch and have a bow on your page.

Photo of my two gorgeous god-daughters.
I have used My Creative Scrapbook kit - August Ltd ed featuring Prima Debutante collection.
The bow is under the butterfly in the sparkly net fabric, I was covered in glitter!

Wall-E - incorporate bricks/brick work on a layout.
I have also followed the above sketch from Scrapmuch?
Photo of Jack and the boys from Prom in 2014.  I have used an old MCS kit featuring Carte Bella papers - Yesterday collection.
The bricks are a Sizzix embossing folder.

Cinderella - Sewing on a layout.  I also used the Page Map below from May.
This is my favourite photo from the summer - my boys in their Playscheme clothes - such bright colours too which I love!
I did a little stitching of circles.  I used My Creative Scrapbook Summer Fun Kit - featuring these yummy Echo Park I love Sunshine paper collection.

Thanks for taking the time to look - I loved playing along with this Cybercrop - Just a bit sad I didn't complete all the challenges before the deadline (However I may still finish them!)

Stuck?! Sketches August - London Selfies!

This weeks fab sketch from Stuck?! Sketches
My take on the sketch using the end of an old My Creative Scrapbook kit - featuring Kaisercraft Tropical Punch paper collection.
I have also created this page using a challenge on UKS - which was to use at least two patterned papers, a frame and make it vintage.
Small frame is from Prima (as are the flowers), the butterflies are Etsy and you can't really get much more vintage than a doily!!
Photos are from my sisters Birthday weekend that we had in London back in April, we were taking selfies everywhere and these were from Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square!
Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog

UKS - August Monthly Challenge

This months challenge on UKS was to use Green as th main focus of colour, use two photos, and use three from a list of embellishments that spell 'BUTTONS' (there were 22!)
I used Brads, Orange and Stars (there is a small amount of orange on my page!)
I have used Simple Stories So Rad collection.
I've added some wooden stars and lots of inked splatters which are Stampin Up stamps.

Photos of my boy with his new obsession which is Skateboarding, which I'm not going to complain about as its gets him out and about and away from his computer!!
Thanks for looking!

August week 2 - UKS weekly challenge

Hello and here is this weeks UKS Challenge - To use wave lines/edges, Summer/Hot/Orange and to use 10 of an embellishment.  I have used the end of a MCS kit - unsure which month but the papers are from Blue Fern Studios - Love Story collection - these are gorgoeus, so thick and I stuggled to cut them up!! They had to have a nice photo to do them justice - and I chose a photo taken from the other evening when I went down with Jack and Caitlin to the Quay for the sunset.
I used an old Creative Memories tearing tool to create the wavy edges to the paper and all the edges have been inked and all the PP's have been mounted on Kraft C/S - making this quiet a 'weighty' page. The Butterfly below is from Etsy.
I have used a selction of flowers (mainly from Prima) and there are 10 of them (which wasn't planned) and then I have used 10 wooden heart embellishments (which was planned!) and then finished off with a splattering of enamel dots.
Behind the left hand corner of the photo is some chipboard trellis (again Blue Fern Studios) and I have inked this with SU Rich Razzleberry ink.

The title is a mixture of alphabets from American Craft Thickers and Websters Pages.
Thank you for taking the time to come and look.

Stuck?! Sketches - August 1st

This weeks sketch from Stuck?! Sketches
I've also followed UKS August week 1 challenge - Use two photos, use hearts and you six of one type of embellishment (I only used six flowers!!).
I have used June Ltd Ed kit from My Creative Scrapbook - featuring Echo Park Summer Bliss Papers - these are so gorgeous and colourful!
I've added some splats (SU stamp set - Gorgeous Grunge) and some Prima crystals, and a Stamped Image (which I think is Ali Edwards) - instaTHIS.  The hearts are punched out using an SU punch.

Photos are of a beautiful sunset in our village right on the South Coast (yes I live here and I am so lucky!).  We decided to go down to the Quay a bit late and had missed the sun setting but the sky was still a beautiful colour and I took both of these photos on my phone.

I would also like to thank Laura and the DT for choosing my sketch from July to be a featured entry. As always I am really pleased to have my work featured - its always helped by a fab sketch!
The page featured - is this one below and you can see the blog entry and more photos here.

As always thank you for taking the time to look at my blog and don't forget to pop over to Stuck?! Sketches and check out what the rest of the DT have done with the sketch and maybe give the sketch a go.....ps. There is a DT call coming soon!

August Page Maps.

I went cropping on Saturday and I had no sketch challenges but thankfully Pagemaps appeared in my email and I printed them off to take with me....and then I forgot my photos!!  Thankfully we use a Community room in our local Tesco superstore and I had my phone on me - so off I went and printed some photos to scrap!!
For both pages I have used my current fav kit from My Creative Scrapbook - this is Jillybean Soup paper collection - Summer Red Raspberry - I have produced so many pages using this kit - I just love the colours so much!
These photos are of a gorgeous little man - Jenson (his Mumma is one of my besties!) and we met up for lunch and he loved his hot chocolate and ice cream.  Everything is from the kit, apart from some additions of enamel dots....ok a lot of them!

I've not done a double page for ages - I actually don't really like doing them, because once they sit in my 'D-Ring' album they don't sit together - but this page worked really well with these photos that were 'WhatsApp' to me while Sam was away camping with my friend Laura.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by, I'm hoping my scrapping mojo is back!  I am off work for a few days so hoping I can sort my photos and get a bit more organised and more scrapping!
